Basingstoke have today signed 19-year-old right back Miles Mitchell-Coop from Wivenhoe Town. The defender was formerly with the MK Dons.
He will go straight into todays squad as Basingstoke travel to Thurrock looking to kick-start their season in the right direction. Reserve team goalkeeper Craig Atkinson is likely to travel with the first team as Chris Waller deputises in goal for the suspended Ross Kitteridge.
