Jamie Whisken started his career at Bournemouth but left the club towards the end of the 2005/06 season after failing to break into the first team.
After a brief spell at Salisbury, he joined Farnborough Town and had an excellent season.
After Farnborough's demise in 2007, Jamie joined Basingstoke after an unsuccessful trial with Dorchester. He found himself unable to get a place in the centre of defence for most games and often filled in at right back.
He was released due to Basingstoke's financial troubles in April 2008 and he joined Sutton United.
He scored one goal for the club; fittingly it came against Dorchester Town. |
