Matt started his career at Wycombe Wanderers and was sent to Basingstoke on a work experience loan in October 2003 when he made a handful of appearances.
After leaving Wycombe, Matt joined Team Bath while at university, but soon came back to Hampshire and signed for Farnborough. He spent one season at the club before joining Basingstoke in Summer 2006.
Matt had a terrific first season for the club and scored the goal that defeated League One Chesterfield in the FA Cup. He was also named Away Fans Player of the Season.
The skillful winger also had a good second season for the club despite an injury making him miss a number of games mid way through the year.
Now in his third full season at the Camrose, Matt has made over 100 appearances for the club. |
