Scott Fitzgerald started his career with non-league Northwood before his goal scoring exploits attracted the attention of the then Championship side Watford, who signed him in February 2003.
During his time at Watford, Scott scored 11 goals in his 55 appearances. He also had loan spells at Swansea, Oxford and Brentford, for whom he signed for in March 2005
But, following a change of manager at Brentford, Scott found himself out on loan again, this time to Oxford, Walsall and AFC Wimbledon before signing for us in January 2007.
Scott initially struggled for form and failed to score in the 2006/07 season for the club.
However, he made a great start to the 2007/08 season and despite playing much of the year covering for injuries in wide midfield, Scott averaged a goal every three games.
He left during the summer of 2008 and joined Hayes & Yeading United. |
